Gua sha therapy:
Gua sha is a healing technique of traditional Chinese medicine in which the skin is scraped to produce light petechiae to increase circulation to the area of treatment for anti-inflammatory and immuno-protective effect. It may be used as a stand-alone treatment or add-on to the acupuncture treatment.
Moxibustion (a.k.a. moxa) is a very popular and important ancient therapy in Oriental medicine. It consists of applying indirect heat from burning dried mugwort on particular points on the body to increase circulation and promote healing process.
Chinese herbal medicine:
In Chinese herbal medicine, various formulation of herbs as well as single hers may be used to promote healing process of the body and balance the whole system according to the Oriental medical theory.
Point injection therapy:
B12 (hydroxycobalamin) injections into acupuncture points. It can help increase energy level and also relieve certain nerve pain.
